Green Light aims to provide an appropriate course of driving tuition to meet the needs of every client.
Working closely with the Devon Drivers' Centre in Exeter, we can offer pre-licence training for 16 year olds on DDC's road circuit.
L Driver tuition is given in an automatic or manual car, as required and pupils are prepared for the DSA test which is taken at the Launceston driving test centre in Cornwall.
As an a2om affiliate ADI, Green Light is able to offer training for the BTEC in Driving Science. This is equivalent to a GCSE and is the world's first academic qualification in driver training.
Post test training continues with Pass Plus (for those students who have not taken the BTEC) and advanced tuition for clients wishing to take the RoSPA or IAM test.
Skid recognition and avoidance training is provided using Devon Drivers' Centre's Skid Car.
In the field of business related road safety, as a Registered Fleet Driver Trainer, Green Light is able to provide training to both corporate and individual clients.
Increasingly, local licensing authorities are requiring taxi drivers to take the DSA taxi assessment. For both hackney carriage and private hire. As an Accredited Taxi-driver Trainer, Green Light is able to provide the appropriate professional training.
With the change in the DVLA licensing regulations for those new drivers who passed the L test post January 1997, there is an increasing demand for towing training. Particularly in rural West Devon and East Cornwall. Green Light is able to provide full professional training for the B+E test, which is taken at the Exeter or Taunton vocational driving test centres.
All courses are individually structured following an initial consultation and driving assessment, where appropriate. Green Light's hourly rate is currently £27 per hour. Charges are reviewed at the beginning of each financial year.
